This is a very dangerous time of the year when it comes to travelling to and from school. It gets dark early and the roads and pavements are very slippy because of the snow and ice. Look at some of our helpful tips below…
…PLEASE – STAY SAFE!!!

In School Council we are going to have a litter competition. We are going to get the friends of Raigmore to judge it. Watch this space. We will be putting posters up on the blog and around the school!

We all took part in the Giant Walking Bus today and it was so fun! We all went into the playground and took part in the walk which started at 10am. We are going to make a school donation to a charity called ‘Brake’ who support road crash victims and carers. We hope we encouraged loads of drivers to drive safely on the road because almost 8 people die every day on the roads in the UK. Remember to be safe on the road!
This Thursday P7s are starting their cycling proficiency training. Every year P7′s have the opportunity to learn how to cycle safely on the road. Anyone with a bike when they are in P7 will get a chance to join in. Those who pass their training successfully will receive a certificate for their hard work. Good luck P7s and cycle safely!
World book day is on the 4 March and on that day we would like everybody to dress up as a character from a comic or a book.
SRtS have decided to do a competition for P1-2.
The Winner will be anounced in two weeks.
When the pictures are finished being coloured, there will be a polly pocket on the SRtS notice board so they can just be slipped into it. After the competition they will all be collected and the winner will be decided and announced on the noticeboard and there will be a prize handed out.
Good Luck Everyone!
